Hold the shooter securely
Place the shooter against the curled side of your forefinger. Support it lightly with your thumb so it stays still before release.
Knuckle down
Rest one knuckle on the playing surface. This gives your hand a stable base and helps keep the release behind the boundary.
Choose the contact point
Aim through the center of the target for maximum transfer. Aim just off center when you need the target to move diagonally.
Keep your eyes on the contact point, not on the entire marble.
Practice at short range
Begin close enough to hit the target consistently. Move back in small increments. Stop adding distance when your grip or release begins to change.
